A poem for us by Grace Wilson

A poem for us by Grace Wilson

Tents left in a field go to waste;

I’ll buy it, even if it’s not my taste.

It all ends up in landfill;

Wear it twice,  you know the drill.

Single use- that’s what you’ll find.

Rewear. Rewind to when things were built to last,

Now we can’t keep up; we churn too fast.

Brands stamp: Sustainability-

Thrown around like confetti.

Ethical on the surface, but we carry on…

Disposable culture lasted too long.

It’s time to show that you care;

our planet just cannot bear.

Reuse, Reduce and Repair

That’s our vibe.

Wear it again and again

And join our Retribe!
